Second week

We had another great week at school together. Our class is really coming together as the students familiarize themselves with our space and with how to make the school days flow efficiently and safely. Lessons on trees started as well as choosing nature names! Ask your child what their nature name is and why. Their supply bags are filled, journals for each class are established and class jobs freshly created, await them on Monday. 

Days were filled with exploration around campus, math games and exercises, some time in the garden,  a two day science lab, lots of art and sewing. These lucky kids had a chance to go for a swim during recess everyday this week! It has proven to be a positive and invigorating break in the day. 

The Drive for School Fundraiser has begun! Thank you to those who have already bought/sold tickets! During Leadership class the class made reminder signs to display in the parking lot for parents viewing. Good luck and thank you in advance for the effort it takes to sell the tickets.
