Español

This class is in varying stages of their bilingual books. The goal is to finish, so we can practice pronunciation and read them to each other (and maybe to another class.) Because I have let them choose their own story line, the Spanish they will be using is not as uniformed and easy to remember as I had hoped. However, there have been many opportunities for them to learn. They have seen how I translate, and they either make connections to English, or realize how different the languages are. Also, as we practice with pronunciation, they will be able to transfer what they learn to any vocabulary words.

Sorry that there are no photos to show, but you will be able to see their books when they take them home. Remember that there are so many excellent websites and ideas online for continuing to learn Spanish over the summer, and beyond. Enjoy!
