Español

Just a brief blog follows, but we had a lot of fun and practiced a lot of Spanish!

Learned and practiced “Soy un Arbol” (I am a Tree - poem), acted it out, cut out hojas (leaves), using their own creativity.

Treat: dulce de chocolate

Song “5 calabazas en un palo”….Acted it out outside….Put real calabazas in order grande/mediano/pequeno…

Write: calabaza and use stickers

Hablo Espanol…we talked about being bilingual and all that they know

Treat: galleta salada

Made Calaveras de Azucar while including vocabulary, history, discussions. Last Friday we decorated them, and I hope they got home in one piece! Also, if anyone was absent, and you would like to make your own sugar skulls, please reach out to me, and I will lend you the molds and give you the instructions.

Really, you can’t find cuter expressions and happier smiles! Enjoy these pictures and keep practicing :)

They played games with Halloween cards with included vocabulary and numbers in Spanish.
