Music

The Scarecrows, K: We continue to practice beat and rhythm using iconic notation and body percussion.  We are using dynamics in our songs, (loud and soft) and tempo (fast and slow), while still creating our own movements to known songs. We learn songs and dances from many countries.  Kookaburra and Highway Number 1 are from Australia.  In Highway Number 1, we make up movements at every city along the way.  Naughty Tabby Cat is an Hungarian folk song and dance. We also play parts on the xylophones! We enjoy doing Drum Circles too.
