The Scarecrows: We continue to practice beat and rhythm using iconic notation and body percussion.  We will start to explore stick notation and are discussing dynamics, (loud and soft) and tempo (fast and slow), while still creating our own movements to known songs. We sang Peace Canon and many other favorites last year!  One of our favorite song and movement games is Who’s That Tapping?  We enjoy doing just the movement while singing the words in our heads!  We also made up tunes and dances to go to our recycling book we read, Recycling at Beaston .  We will add drum and percussion circles and 2nd line marching to our class!
