It has been so fun getting to know the Kindergarten students these past couple of weeks. We started out with words they already knew, introductions, and counting. We played an “I like” game and a “where is the cat” game. Next week we will learn a color song.

Here is some of the vocabulary we have used:

Me gusta - I like

Niña, niño - girl, boy

Me llamo.... - my name is.... (I call myself...)

Traditional Attention Getter:

Qué pasa calabaza?  - What’s happening pumpkin?

Nada, nada limonada  - Nothing, nothing lemonade.

Chant that went to the hide and find the cat game:

¿Dónde está el gato?

¿Dónde, dónde está?

¿Dónde está el gato?

¿Dónde, dónde está?

Aquî está, aquî está el gato.
