Circus/Drama

We have continued our lessons on the basics of movement, balance and focus which are the building blocks of both circus and drama. We have done more partner balances. Trust and cooperation are key concepts involved. Even though we do many physical warm-ups and exercises, which incorporate mid-line crossovers, we have given more focus to these, after hearing Anna Rainville speak at the parent meeting at the beginning of the month. We are working on large motor movement with ball/ring tossing and catching. We are prepping for the winter play, Robin Hood, by selecting roles. The kinders are all a part of the Grand Dragon.
