BIOGRAPHIES: Exploring Famous People (and a horse!)

The kids got free choice as to who they wanted to learn more about. So many interesting people! Zariah shared the most amazing Cinderella-like tale of Snowman, the greatest horse jumper. I learned so much from all of the reports. Students were able to choose different formats- a template, a timeline or a traditional essay. All this great information was shared with others in class via oral presentations. Work is currently on display in the yurt. Come visit!
