Hello friends, welcome to the art part of the blog.

We started the new school year with ease and excitement and dove right into LINES, the first fundamental we will cover this year. A few art projects were created with a variety of lines. The students will bring art home, but will have lots of notes, references and drawings collected in their art journals at school. The journals will go home at the end of the school year. We’re now just getting started on the study of color and will enjoy creating seasonal art with multimedia.

In leadership, we are focusing on connection, goals and ways to support our beautiful campus. We use the peace builder principles to lead the way in class discussions of daily quotes and reflective prompts. How can we work together as a team/class to create positive change? As well as community building, I hope to encourage the students to practice self awareness, self love and appreciation with gratitude practices, movement and guided meditations. Campus responsibilities as well as student council will begin soon.
