While continuing to study US geography, the class has begun a US history colonial simulation. As we interactively experience this tumultuous time in our country, the hope is that the students will learn the dynamics of the different peoples (Native American, European, and African)  and the challenges each faced as they interacted with one another and dealt with the ramifications of decisions made. The students also took on the creation of the Haunted Willows. It was a student driven project. They designed, wrote, constructed, and performed their Halloween skit for the Orchard community at the Orchard Halloween party.
