Mass

Students use the triple beam balance to find the mass of both solids and liquids.

Volume

Students find the volume of both solids and liquids using a variety of methods, including water displacement and measuring the length, width, and height of rectangular prisms.

Students explored atoms and molecules, and used kits to build them.

Density

Lab teams are exploring density by comparing equal amounts of different solids and liquids. Students also practice calculating density by measuring mass and volume. On Halloween, students discovered the density of candy corn and other holiday related substances.
