Hi Everyone,

I hope you are doing well – I miss you! 

For this week, I’ve included a variety of activities and assignments for you to work on. 

Each of you has a laminated multiplication facts quiz for you to practice daily.  It’s set up for 1 minute and then 2 more minutes for a total of 3 minutes.  However, you may change this to our usual 2 minutes and 3 minutes for the total of 5 minutes.  I’ve also included a recording sheet for you to monitor your progress.

 It would be great if you did some of the following activities with your family as well:

Digits and Place

Logic Pattern

Beat the Calculator

I’ve included the division packet with the division facts and story problems for you to complete.  If you feel inspired, please do write some of your own division story problems and include illustrations.

Factor Pathway (B) along with a die is included for you to practice the multiplication facts:  6s, 7s, and 8s.  The directions are on the back of the game board.  You can use pennies and nickels as your markers.

You will also find a set of tangrams and your tangram puzzle worksheet that you can continue to work on – include the family in the problem solving if you wish.

There are so many fun ways to explore and practice math.  I would love to hear about anything else you are doing or anything that you would like for me to provide.  Would any of you like copies of the task cards?  Wrap-Ups?  Challenges?
