Below is our CircOrchard writing. We used word banks, sounding out, sentence frames, and spelling binders to explain what we will do at CircOrchard, and how we feel while performing. A big thanks to Mirna for typing their written work!

I like the circus because the children are so talented! I am always so impressed at their abilities. The circus gives me a chance to see the children shine in a unique way.

In CircOrchard I am doing gymnastics, stilts, unicycle, human pyramids, cartwheels, a clown routine, and others that I can’t remember at the moment. In the circus my favorite routine isthe gymnastics routinewhen I do gymnastics I feel excited and scared , for example as do cartwheels my heartis racing when run over the mats, go forward spin and land then over again and again until I reach the end of the mats.

Ryin

In the circus I am in the juggling routine. When I am in juggling routine I try to just focus on the focus point. It is nerve-wracking being on stage but afterwards I want to do it over and over and over.

Nia

In Circ Orchard I am going to ride a unicycle which is super fun and I have been riding one since first grade but this is the first year that I will perform on one in the circus.I’m also very excited to walk on stilts, it is still a little nerve racking to be so highup and sometimes I have to take a deep breath to calm my self down.I will also be in the giraffe routine as well but i’m going to ride a mini wheel which is one part fun andthe other part really really weird feeling because my legs have to move super fast but i don’t go very far. I’m doing much much more my hand is getting tired so thats all for now.

Henry

In CircOrchard, Im globing, and that make’s my feet hurt. It’s hard to balance. All you have to do is balance and be barefooted. It’s really easy.

Aubrie

All the things I’m doing in CircOrchard

I will be riding a unicycle, a giraffe, the three-wheeler, juggling, the chase, hula hoop, discovery, human pyramid, human juggling, cartwheels, stilts, and I will be carrying the human cannonball with a close friend, Camila. It took me like four to five weeks, maybe even a month, to learn how to ride a unicycle.

Camila

In the circus I’m going to…

unicycle, juggle, stilt, handstand, hula hoop, discovery, giraffe, human pyramid, the chase, carrying the human cannonball.

I like the stage, it’s so fun but I’m nervous about performing in front of an audience, but so proud of ourselves. Hearts pumping, hands moving, walking, throwing, feeling so happy, feet peddling, running, jumping. My body balances, feeling free. My brain concentrating, hoping that I won’t mess up. Soaring, flying, feeling, everybody yelling, so happy so free.

 Ella

I do this in Circ Orchard: unicycle, cartwheels, gymnastics, down routine, human pyramid, hulu hoop, discovery, giraffe, juggling, chase, stilts. All of these routines make me move and act out my character and focus.

They make me feel happy, stressed, exited, and most of all joyful. I peddle in the unicycle routine.

Finch

In the Circ I will peddle unicycle, walk and do human pyramids and human juggling. My favorite thing to do in circus is to walk on globe which is fun to do, my feet are walking and balancing.

Ezra

I do two things in Circ unicycle and pyramids. My mind feels lazy and that is what I usually feel like. My body feels strong.  Equipment feels fine. I balance and keep my back streight.

Jaxson

In Circ Orchard I am doing unicycle and giraffe. My legs are pumping, my heart pounding when i unicycle.
