Specialty: Human Body

This is a beginning class to a long project; a human body owner’s manual. This segment of the project covers human anatomy. In the past 3 weeks, we have visited the pulmonary, respiratory, and skeletal systems. We have made drawings of the heart, it’s major arteries and veins. We also did a class wide physical demonstration of valve function and purpose. We measured resting, then elevated heart and breath rates, after predicting the outcomes. For the skeletal system, we cut and pasted a skeleton, while giving names to the major bones in the body.
