Hello friends! Welcome to the art part of the blog. We’ve started the new year wonderfully, diving right into our first of many fundamentals of art, LINE.

Next up is a review on the world of color. We recently made beautiful drawings of a pumpkin in the moonlight with a gorgeous spiderweb as a background using colored pencils and oil pastels, combining many techniques and examples of both line and color.

In leadership, we have been keeping up with gratitude practices, highlighting our peace builder principles and worked hard and harmoniously on our skit for the Halloween performance, POPCORN (They did an awesome job even with the music glitch!). This class will also manage our recycling of art materials and collecting from other classrooms. The students in this class created big ziplock bags for each classroom to help collect items that can’t be used anymore and to be taken to Staples for a proper recycle. We collect: markers, glue sticks, pencils, pens and crayons!
