Music
The Cats, Second/Third: Movement games are great exercise, help relieve stress and are enjoyable for the whole family as we stay safe in our Shelter in Place. The Cats enjoy doing a fun movement game called, “Freeze Dance” and another called “Museum.” Have your child teach these games to you and the family after they have experienced the links below!

How much do you know about the Planet, Jupiter? the composer Gustav Holst wrote a symphony called “The Planets” and below is a fabulous Flash Mob doing “Jupiter!” Watch how the Berklee Comtemporary Symphony Orchestra develops “Jupiter.”. After you see and hear it, think about why Gustav Holst chose these instruments, and tempos (slow to fast,) to portray “Jupiter.” Can you name the brass instruments you saw? and did you see the String Family? What was in the Percussion Family? Enjoy!
