Hi all. Your children bring such joy to my heart. We have had many fun, impromptu and planned, activities going on during our Fridays: lotería, a bilingual tongue twister book, pronunciation, phrases about cookies, etc. With this group I really try to go with the flow as to what they feel like doing, and I incorporate Spanish with it all. I just loved this last Friday. We celebrated Leif and Lyra (in Spanish) by making Birthday books for each of them and singing to them. This is the kind of thing that makes everyone happy and brings the language into their everyday lives.

I will miss being with your wonderfully special kids and seeing them in person. Until we meet again, please remember that there are so many resources for language learning online.

Some of my favorites, that have many activities to do that are not necessarily on a screen, are:

https://rockalingua.com/videos

or just simply search: Spanish for Kids

This first one is an app and the second a link to other apps:

This is a list of podcasts:

I’ve never tried this one, but I just found it:

My kids used to watch and love this:

Also, look on the public library websites for online books….oh my gosh, the list is never ending.
