The Cats, 1st /2nd:

We are practicing the rhythmic patterns ta, ti ti, and rest using the heart chart and stick notation with a variety of known songs. We have practiced on the melodic and percussive instruments and will continue this year.  I’m excited to add drum circles to the class! We are practicing songs that use the tones sol mi and la, such as Charlie Over the Water, and are preparing to learn mi re & do, using Sailor, Sailor, which will give us the pentatonic scale!
