Art

December was a short month in the Art room. We actually spent two weeks (two classes) in the Tile room to make space for the magnificent play of Robin Hood.  So not being surrounded by all things ‘ART’ up in the gym, supplies were limited and time was limited (rehearsals with pull outs) but the kids still managed to create winter, holiday art pieces as well as have fun keeping it light with their friends.  

 The 1st graders did a step by step tutorial of the cutest penguins and were free to design the landscape to their liking.  Lots of snow and snowflakes were creatively added! 

Friends finding time to help each other trace each other.  If we had more time the kids wanted to decorate the insides more elaborately...but I think they had fun experimenting with poses. It’s also sweet watching them practice team work without direction.
