Art
For a Halloween art project, the first graders painted mini pumpkins into super cute, I mean, spooky BATS! They painted and personalized their pumpkins and added wings and ears with glue and tacks.
boo!
The month of November has been a short month in the art room. Before the holiday break the whole school collectively created banner flags to express their gratitude. The installation was displayed by the cubbies, hung above the picnic tables. The kids illustrated and wrote what they were grateful for:
Friends
Family
Outer space
Trees
Brothers
Electronics
Stars
You
Me
Love......to name a few.
We also had a chance to thread beads to hang with the flags as colorful charms to beautify the expression.
The students really enjoyed writing what they were thankful for and were all very pleased with how the flags turned out. I hope you all had a chance to have a look.
So very thankful!
