The focus in Art class has been color: primary, rainbow, warm and cool, even monochromatic! The students spent some time creating their own painted paper to use as future canvases. They made cool colored paper as well as warm colored paper.
At our next class we practiced drawing rainbows and Enjoyed a step by step on drawing a bird. We put all those elements together to create sweet art that warms your heart!

We explored shapes to create an abstract cityscape using our cool colored paper they made previously for an evening sky. They used watercolor, colored pencils and oil pastels to add more detail and texture.
The students are currently working on their monochromatic pieces, so more on that soon!!
