Art

For a Halloween project, the Kinders made Ghost mobiles by painting dried leaves as spooky ghosts that hung with yarn on a painted piece of driftwood.  This took a few classes to complete as we had to wait for the paint to dry.  In the meantime, free drawing with markets is fun as well as having a little bit of story time.

A gaggle of Ghosts!!! 👻👻👻

The month of November has been a short month in the art room. Before the holiday break, the whole school collectively created banner flags to express their gratitude. The installation was displayed by the cubbies, hung above the picnic tables.  The kids illustrated and wrote what they were grateful for:

Friends

Family

Outer space

Trees

Brothers

Electronics

Stars

You

Me

Love......to name a few.

We also had a chance to thread beads to hang with the flags as colorful charms to beautify the expression.

The students really enjoyed writing what they were thankful for and were all very pleased with how the flags turned out.  I hope you all had a chance to have a look.
