We'll start the morning by participating in the International Coastal Conservancy Clean Up, sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy. We actually get a head-start for the county as the clean up is officially the following day. We'll divide into teams and comb Platform Beach in Rio Del Mar gathering and sorting all kinds of trash. (Students will analyze the data from their haul in science class throughout the first weeks of school.)

The rest of the day will be spent frolicking on the beach. Orchard parents (and siblings) are welcome and encouraged to come along, but are not required to do so.  More details to follow.
