Grammar

Many of us do not have fond memories of our grammar studies. I know I didn’t. Montessori grammar changes all that! Instead of being presented with a boring set of rules, children are presented a story with parts of speech that are represented by a shape and color. The children then use these shapes/colors to symbolize sentences. After mastering the symbolization they are ready to make up original sentences using grammar patterns. This results in having many ways to craft a sentence and become more artistic writers!. They kids are having fun with it and crave for more!

Here is an example:

Noun Family: articles, adjectives, nouns. Verb Family: verbs, adverbs. Sidekicks: prepositions, conjunctions
