Math

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all doing well – I miss you!

Here’s the list of tasks to do weekly:

1.  Practice the multiplication/division facts daily (5-10 minutes).  Students can practice the facts via a game, flashcards, songs or another method of their choosing.

2.  Do the multiplication facts quiz at least once a week and record the results on the recording sheet.

3.  Work at least 20 minutes or more in the geometry book each week.

4.  Work for at least 45 minutes during the week on the fraction packets and let me know when he/she is ready for the next section.

This week’s packet includes (April 15):

Wheat Grass worksheet:  Some of you may have to guestimate your answers since you may not have recorded the daily growth each day.

New fraction packet for those ready for the next one.

Lattice multiplication wipe-off sheets

Lattice step by step instruction sheet

Hard copy of facts quiz.

You can choose to work on the lattice 3 by 1, the 2 by 2, the 3 by 3, or create a larger one following the format.  If you like, I can provide grid paper for you.  Just let me know.  I’ve put the lattice problems in the plastic sleeves (someone donated hundreds of them) so you can practice with a white board marker and use the sheet over and over.

I’ve included a new fraction packet for those of you who have completed the previous one as well as a paper copy of the facts quiz.  Do let me know if you need anything else.  I’m happy Zoom one-on-one to help you out or you can join our study session on Friday from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
