January has been filled with folders, field games and mainly posters. I gave them all bookmarks with a lot of vocabulary on them and we used these to play some vocabulary games and decorate their folders which will go home at the end of the year after I have them for another 8 weeks. We also started playing field games, incorporating Spanish into them. Here are the vocabulary lists so that they can continue to practice the words. They have been having so much fun with this, and I have seen a great sense of maturity in how they are navigating the field games and putting effort into the Spanish :)

Traes de Banana - Banana Tag

What we have mostly been working on the last few weeks are large posters about themselves. We will finish these at the beginning of next session. This is a list of the vocabulary that is on the posters. They used their bookmarks to help fill in the answers and I helped with other vocabulary. It would be great if they kept practicing. :)
