Music

The Falcons:  The Falcons came up with a tasty list of their favorite pop and rock songs and we will choose a few to sing, play on the melodic percussion instruments, drums and the pianos.  We have continued exploring the pentatonic scale (do re mi sol la) for example in the song a la Vibora. We have added the dance which ‘snakes’ around in a line under a bridge made of 2 Falcons. When someone gets caught in the bridge, that Falcon replaces a one of the two who make up the bridge.

January brings us new explorations! We will compose our own piece to be played on all melodic and percussion instrument!s using the tools of solfege, and stick rhythm notation.
