4/5/6 drama
We have begun the year with reviews of some basic dramatic principles: entrance and exit, focus and focus changes, levels, and separation of movement. All students have participated in simple improvisational exercises/skits. As an audience member, each student gives and hears feedback as to what: makes sense, is believable, grabs interest, and fulfills the exercise instructions. In this way, students are not only learning from their own skits, but from the other performers interpretations. These are the beginnings for our winter play in December.
