Español

One last blog for the year: we finally put the signs up in the garden to label some of the plants. We had a lot of fun going to find sticks to put them on first, chanting, "Necesitamos un palo," "encontré un palo," "me gusta el palo" and "tenemos palos"  (We need a stick, I found a stick, I like the stick, and we have sticks). Once we got them on and into the garden, each person told the others "Aquí esta ......" (Here is ____ ) for whatever their plant was. I still need to make time to post the videos.

The next 2 Fridays we worked on conversations. (photos below) The last Friday we barely had time to start an activity with post it notes and questions written on the top, with answers underneath. We will pick up with this when we come back. If they want to practice over break, below is the paper we were working with. The only way to really learn a language at all, is to consistently use it. Babbel.com and an app called Duolingo, among many others, are ways to practice at home too.
