Leadership

Greetings 2nd grade Families!

Your children seem to have enjoyed the process of transforming plants from our garden & grounds, into a beautiful healing salve. Out of 18 jars, we managed to sell 14, and distributed the remaining to various  first aid kits

around the Orchard campus. Im sorry that not all 2nd graders were able to purchase one as they sold out fast, but fortunately we are in the process of preparing a new batch. Our comfrey/plantain herbs are currently being infused in olive oil.

We thought they would be ready to sell next friday after the play, but alas we will need a few more days to process it. As a reward for their services, the children should be bringing a jar home before our winter break.

I'd like to schedule a meeting in the New year, with all interested parents who might be willing to help us transform the Garden "shed", into a lovely Apothecary Workshop space.

I'm enjoying working with your children and getting to know who they are. My hope is that this 2nd grade class will be able to forge a path of interest at Orchard School, and together develop a working understanding

and relationship to the amazing Natural resources at our fingertips. One can only dream of the possibilities. Please let me know if you'd like to assist us in this venture.
