Happy New Year, everyone! The last two months of 2022 were busy creating art for many holidays and traditions (Dia Del los Muertos, Native American Heritage month, Stone Soup), as well as honoring the change of the seasons (winter wonderland landscapes made by collaging with cut up painted paper and using chalk pastels to create the northern lights then adding finishing touches of snow with splattered paint.) all while being flexible in switching classrooms and schedules to make way for our winter production of the Wizard of Oz. I’ve been having so much fun with this class! We’ve gotten into a good groove and I really look forward to meeting with them twice a week. See you all in the new year!
